Event Location:Riverside, the Heart of the River7305 County Road 78; LaBelle, FL 33935

Arrival & Check In – Thursday, October 9

2:00pm – Check In Opens – if you arrive earlier than 2:00, please enjoy the Pavilion, Veranda of the Grand Hall or the swings by the river
3:30pm – Please arrive by 3:30 so you have time to settle in before the First Session starts
4:00 PM – First Session starts
5:45pm - Dinner…if you plan to arrive after 6:15 PM, please keep in mind that dinner may have ended, so you may want to grab something to eat before you arrive at camp.
Please settle any outstanding balance by Wednesday, October 8th so our records are updated for check in, thanks! Payments made onsite during the check in process will incur a $25 fee.
Activity sign up will be open at registration on a first come, first serve basis

Important Details About the Retreat:

Cell reception: There is very little cell phone service at the venue, so please don’t rely on using your phone during the retreat.
Meals: Dinner will be served on Thursday night. On Friday and Saturday, all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be served. On Sunday, breakfast will be served. There will be limited refrigerator space for those with special dietary needs or medication. If you have a medically necessary diet please contact email us at heartsofbeautyfl@gmail.com with your name in the subject line and we will be in touch.
The Retreat will conclude Sunday, October 12th at 12:00pm.
Activities – We will have a variety of activities, including crafts, spa time, games, pickleball (bring your own racquet and balls if you have) and Pilates (bring a mat if you have one… it can also act as an extra mattress pad on your bunk) and free time to enjoy the pool and connecting with friends!
Cash or CC for souvenirs at the HOB store, where all money goes towards providing scholarships for next year’s retreat

Please double check the weather as you are packing!!!Packing List:Here’s a detailed list of what to bring to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable retreat experience:

Comfortable clothes: The entire event is casual, so pack your most comfortable clothes and shoes for relaxing and outdoor activities. Please bring modest (family friendly) attire for the entire weekend. You may want to pack a sweater or sweatshirt for inside or during the evening. And don’t forget your modest bathing suit and towel for the pool!
All-White Outfit: On Friday night we are having a WHITE PARTY!!! Be simple or creative with your modest white outfit as we celebrate 10 years of Florida Hearts of Beauty!! Please plan on continuing to wear ONLY comfortable shoes. This is a camp and the ground can be uneven…
Toiletries: Don’t forget your essentials! Bring shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, face wipes, etc. These items will not be provided.
Other essentials: A study Bible, a watch, a reusable water bottle, a flashlight and a camera separate from your phone. Also bring your pillow, Xtra Long twin sheets, blanket and towels.
Comfortable shoes: There will be time for outdoor activities and free time, so pack comfortable shoes for walking and exploring the grounds. The grounds are uneven and we strongly suggest only flat shoes the entire time.
Rain gear: This is a rain or shine event, so it’s a good idea to bring a rain jacket or umbrella just in case.
Medications: If you take any medications, please remember to bring enough for the weekend.
Snacks: While we’ll provide light snacks throughout the weekend, feel free to bring any personal snacks you enjoy.

Spiritual Preparation:Some things to be aware of as you prepare for the retreat in the coming week - Expect God to show up. He is going to take you deeper, restoring your strength and giving you back your heart.

Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”Expect opposition. Be self-controlled and alert: “Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith” (1 Peter 5:8).The devil does not want you to walk forward and take part in what God has prepared for you at this event. Expect the devil to challenge you - arguments with your husband or significant other, health problems, demands at the office, assaults against your heart, character, work and reputation, and other roadblocks between you and this event. Please, ladies, be aware that these are indications that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.

That God would prepare your heart for all that He has for you to receive.

That you would give God permission to do the things He desires in your heart.

For the supernatural protection of your family leading up to, and during, the event.

For your protection as you travel to and from the event.
